NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS
AND EXAMINATIONS
A neuropsychological examination and consult provides a comprehensive and detailed description of the unique behavioral, cognitive, and psychological consequences of brain trauma. An assessment of this type documents the array of functional strengths and weaknesses so that rehabilitation can tap resources to help the individual adjust to or compensate for disabilities. Scientific techniques are used to infer pre morbid (preexisting) characteristics of an individual and to provide an index of the extent and type of changes brought about by an injury. Prognosis for recovery or adaptability can be similarly inferred.
PROFESSIONAL HYPNOSIS THERAPY SERVICES
When hypnosis therapy is used for treating a physical or psychological problem, it is called clinical hypnosis. Clinical hypnosis can be defined as an altered state of awareness, consciousness or perception. Hypnosis Therapy is a highly relaxed state in which ones conscious and unconscious mind is focused and receptive to therapeutic suggestion and is used to treat both physical and/or emotional problems.
